I wanted to do this list last year but did not take the time. Given I have posted daily this entire year I have a nice record of my activities. I went back through my pictures month by month and made a list of the more poignant things I have done, 72 of the things that stand out amongst my daily life. These links are to representative posts for the activity given that many of these are multi day processes, events, or tasks. It really is helping my head to see the list to feel more productive now that it is winter and I am doing far less each day.
I had quite a busy year, a few totals:
67 Paragliding flights amounting to 3.43 hours of flight time and 46.5 miles of distance flown
5486 pounds of produce harvested, My record year

That is a pretty solid summary of what my year entailed. Today being the last day of the year I have been able to come to some very important decisions and am now going to have very distinct boundaries set. There will be a process of adjustment for the boys but they will get used to the absence soon. My father and I are in the best place EVER and my mother has made her choice but refuses to understand the ramifications. This next year will be a step in a new direction for me as I work to make a greenhouse building business to move away from only farming. I need to build, create, teach, and stop being the person I have devolved into as I go into the new year. I look forward to the energy changing on the farm once she has moved and hope that I can leverage it to be even more productive but also far more attentive. I was NOT expecting to end the year like this but in the end I'm happy that it is happening, it was a long time coming so to finally be here and to be standing firm in my decisions feels good.
