Introduction
I'm still behind on food posts. I've actually ate here twice and didn't write about it the first time so here I am putting it together with the second time I ate here. This restaurant is near my office and there's still two places to eat around my office until I am done eating at every restaurant in the same building as my office.
Hollywood 19 De Chef Hasbullah
Hollywood 19 is a restaurant located in Malaysia at USJ19 City Mall. The place specializes in a mix of western and Malaysian culture food. I took a whole picture of the menu and I will share it at the end of this post. The place is still quite new; I think less or close to one years old. As you can see, there's not many google reviews but it has a great average of 4.1 stars.
Food
The first time I ever came here I got the beef ball Bolognese. I actually didn't like the sauce for this one. It was a bit overpowering for me in my opinion. The beef balls were nice though. As for the drink, I got a vanilla drink which I forgot to take a photo so you can see half of the drink was already gone.
2nd Visit Food
The second time I ate at Hollywood 19 I got carbonara and mango soda. The carbonara was alright. It could've been better with a porky bacon but since the restaurant is halal there's no pork. As for the pasta, it was passing. It's really hard to go wrong unless the carbonara sauce is messed up. The mango soda was interesting. It was my first time having a soda version but I liked it. Mango smoothies are better but they didn't have it so I just decided to give this drink a shot.
Concluding Thoughts
Honestly, the food was alright. I wouldn't say it was amazing. The price was more towards the mid-range. I wouldn't say it's cheap but it's not super expensive either. The place is nice though. The seating was comfortable and it was well decorated. It would be a good place to bring people for business meetings. You can see some other items on the receipts and those were what my boss ordered. Thanks to my boss for paying the meals!
