Beach Plum Liqueur!
I love Cape Cod, there is so much to offer and such an amazing climate for my gardens. the sandy, well draining, slightly acidic soil is wonderful for certain types of fruits growing. At the beach, there are dozens and dozens of Beach Plum Bushes growing and this year, I picked an over abundance!
I've planted my own shrubs now, and will have to wait for a few years until they actually bear enough fruit for me to enjoy. For now, I am walking the end of my street, to harvest what I needs.
I laughed when I saw the random Golden Peas... I clearly just picked these, when I walked into the house, and was snacking as I made my jelly and liqueur.
I picked lots of tiny plums for Jelly making and had plenty left over for making some Beach Plum Liqueur. This video shows you how I take the Beach Plums from Berry to A Sweet Tasty Liqueur. This video shows you how I take the local Beach Plums: From Plum to A Sweet Tasty Liqueur.
