Way back, when I was still a kid, I liked to eat spaghetti, or let us assume that every kid loved to eat this. I feel happy when my mama (mother) cooks or our neighbor gives us spaghetti because they have an occasion to celebrate. Before, my mama only cooked spaghetti when there was an occasion. We only had spaghetti before when we celebrated birthdays, Christmas, and New Year. This is the only time that there is spaghetti on the table. And the only time we eat spaghetti. Or if we go out, roam around the mall, and drop by the famous fast-food chain here in the Philippines. Because one of their menus is jolly spaghetti. Every time my mama plans to go out, we go to the mall. I am the one who is prepared early. Because I am the one who is very excited to go.
But now that I am older, the scenario has changed. Before I was only eating spaghetti if there is an occasion. And now, I cook spaghetti once a week because my partner asks for it. And I love to cook it because it lasts for us for 2 days since we are just the two of us to eat. We just reheat it for the next day. And I was relaxed for the next day because I don’t need to cook rice and viands. Viands is one of my daily problems, always thinking of what to cook or what to have it. And now, I can say that we can have a spaghetti even there is no occasion.
So for today's it is my schedule to cook spaghetti. And this is the recipe of my mother I just copied from her hehe. So now, I’m going to start it.
At first, I want to prepare all the ingredients. And put on the table.
Ingredients:
For Sauce:
1 900g Spaghetti Sauce
2 250g Tomato Sauce
1 medium onion
1 Garlic
¼ kilo ground pork
5 pcs hotdog
Condensed Milk (depends on your preferred sweetness)
1 box of cheese
For Boiling of Pasta:
5L Water
3 tbsp. Salt
1 700g Spaghetti Pasta
I sliced the garlic and onion into minced size.
I have already washed the ground pork and hotdog. And drain it.
I sliced the hotdog into thin pieces.

Cooking the pasta.
I use 2 electric cookers. Because the capacity of 1 cooker only half kilo of pasta.
I put salt in each pot with water.
And wait to boil.
After the water boiled, I put in the pasta. And stir occasionally.
And wait for the pasta to fully bite.
And this time the pasta is already cooked. And I have also drained the water.
Cook for the sauce.
I put just a little oil. Heat the oil for a minute.
I put in the garlic. Saute for a minute until I smell the aroma.
Next, I put in the onion. And saute it until the color becomes translucent.
Put the ground pork. Saute until it becomes light brown.
Next, the hotdog. Mix. Until the hotdog cooked.
And I put the spaghetti sauce. Mix. And wait to boil.
After to boil. I put in the tomato sauce. Mix. And wait again to boil.
Next, I put the condensed. Just enough on my preferred sweetness.
And lastly, I put the cheese. Finally, I was done cooking.
Time to taste. To eat of my own cooked spaghetti. ‘Coz cooking is not that easy thing to do. And after cooking, I feel hungry.
Let’s eat.
