Hello! How are you? It has been a while since we ate Fresh Miki, so when I opened the fridge to look what I am going to cook for our dinner saw the fresh Miki with the veggies that needed for guisado, I always ask them first if that is what they wanted me to cook and I'm always right LOL. Before, I didn't like noodles because they tasted weird. After my taste palate decided to change or mature, yeah it is good LOL. Have you ever tried this food? How was it?
Ingredients I Used:
- Fresh Miki
- 5 Clove Garlic
- 1 1/2 Cup Water
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
- Meat
- 1 Bell Pepper Bell Peppper
- 1 Carrots
- 20 String Beans
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- half tsp Ground Pepper
- 1 Chicken Broth Cube
- 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce
Cooking Time!
I pour about half a cup of water into the pan and let it boil.
I added about 2 tbsp of cooking oil when the water was mostly reduced.
I let the meat cook crisp and mix it with the other parts to make them cook evenly.
When the meat is cooked and crispy, I added the aromatics like garlic and red onion. Sauteed them until browning started to appear.
After that, I added the bell pepper. Sautee it for about a minute.
Then, I sautee the carrots. Just like the bell pepper, I sauteed it for about a minute.
Next are the string beans. Mix them for a minute, too. This helps them to get crispy, and it makes the veggies smoky. I like it.
I added a tbsp of soy sauce.
Then I added about a sprinkle of ground pepper.
Then, I added a cup of water.
When the water started to boil, I added a cube of chicken broth.
Then, I added fresh miki in.
After that, I added about a tbsp of oyster sauce.
Let it cook at medium heat for about 5-8 minutes. Make sure to check the food every minute because fresh miki tends to stick on the pan, so it needs to cook in medium or low heat.
And then we're done! Ready to be plated.
Happy Eating!
