Hi hi, my friends… how was your weekend? Usually, I work on weekends. I went to eat Indian food at Cha Cha cafe but made by locals here. The way the roti is made is the same with a bit of variation. Malaysians love creating new ways to cook food.
I guess, if you have been reading my posts, I visit lots of eateries. Lots and lots of eateries. Eating is one of my hobbies. So today, we are going to ChaCha cafe
Cha Cha cafe
This cafe serves halal food and has so many stalls to choose from. You would not be disappointed.
So many lights got me attracted to eat here.
Ordered a glass of cold milk tea special. What is so special about this drink? It has three layers. The syrup part at the lowest with the milk in the middle and the tea at the top.
My wife checked out the menu and ordered.
Usually, even after we had ordered food, we would keep the menu beside us just in case we had other stuff we wanted to order too.
A plate of delicious roti cheese and egg. Yummy. The roti is crunchy and flavourful.
The best way to eat roti is when it is hot and super crispy. The cheese is the best part of this dish. Usually, the cheese melts in the mouth. Lava flow.
In Miri, most cafes have the English version of their menu. So if you visit Sarawak, it won't be too hard to read the menus. =)
I saw this really funny signboard.
" JALAN BAPAK KAU"
It translates to Your Father's Road. It's a Malaysian joke.
Take a picture of the roti before eating it.
Cutting it into small bits to make it easier to eat. Can't wait to take a bite.
Some Satays. These are meat on skewers. They are delicious and do dip into the peanut sauce. Makes it a great combination.
After such a great dinner, it was time to head back home. There are also lots of other stuff to try out. Next time, I will try them out.
