Welcome to the second part of my Lingayen Beach Stroll!
First part: Morning Beach Stroll and Food Trip at Lingayen Beach
I went back to the Lingayen Baywalk while waiting for my brother to give the peach cheesecake I made. Thankfully, it's not difficult to find a vacant bench because there were only few people that time.
I really love this area because of the palm trees. Sitting here is very relaxing and peaceful. It's a good place to stay when you are with your friends or family. You can stay here and eat the street foods you bought or you can bring snacks or meals and eat it here. Just make sure to clean after your mess.
While waiting, this dog sat nearby and accompanied me. The dog seemed relaxed. I wish I have a snack to feed the dog.
My brother arrived later on after choosing the dog as the landmark for him to easily spot me. Lol.
He brought me some popcorn and chocolate as a gift and also brought a bottle of water that I requested. I told him I still haven't eaten breakfast and wanted to take a pee. I also told him that I wanted to eat some street food like fishball and kwek-kwek. He then asked me if I wanted to go at the end of the baywalk where the street foods are located.
I rode on his motorcycle and he drove to the street food area which was not so far. However, there were still no street food vendor when we got there. Only vendors selling coconut juice were there.
He then suggested ANEA, a cafe within the capitol grounds. I've heard of the cafe through social media and I think it's a nice place so I instantly agreed. He continued driving and we went around the capitol to find it.
The cafe's location was a bit tricky to find as it's a bit hidden. I think the structures beside it were hotel rooms.

The ANEA Cafe was surprisingly nice and have a comforting ambiance. There were no customer around when we entered so I was able to take some photos.
We took the farthest table. My brother knows me too well! Lol!
Ah, the comfort room, finally!!! I like that the sink is wide and there is hand soap and paper towels to dry your hands after washing. Not all cafe comfort rooms has that.
Just a few minutes inside this cafe and I'm already liking it. I'm returning here for sure when I get back on Lingayen Beach.
Every corner seem Instagrammable. Their mirror near the entrance door even had their social media handle printed on it. I think it's designed for this purpose— for people to take photos and share online. Maybe this mirror design is already a thing on cafes.
The airconditioning unit is also kept hidden in a cabinet so it doesn't stand out that much. Can you see it?
The flowers on the tables are artificial but they look pretty, isn't it? It adds a dainty and sophisticated vibe. The chairs are also wide and comfortable. I wish I had stayed longer.
My brother left for a while to return to his home nearby to buy the needs for my nephew while waiting for our orders. He ordered a drink with Nutella. I can't remember the exact name but it looks delicous with that scoop of ice cream on top.
Meanwhile, I ordered a Strawberry Uji Matcha. The drink doesn't just look aesthetically pretty but it also tastes good, in all fairness. It also has real strawberry bits. Love it!
The truffle and parmesan fries arrived next. Honestly, it tasted ordinary for me but my brother told me that it tastes good especially with the parmesan toppings. If he didn't mention about the parmesan topping I would've forgotten I ordered a truffle and parmesan fries. Lol.
Served last was the nachos. I love the taste of the cheese sauce because you can taste the cheese, unlike others that tastes really bland.
My brother arrived a couple of minutes and later and then left after telling me that he can no longer accompany me because he was needed at home. He told me they were preparing to go out as well. Kind of sad but it's a chance to eat alone anyway.
So I was left eating alone but I hurried eating the foods after sensing I'm having a bad cough any time soon. I'm too ashamed to cough loud inside the cafe because there's one customer nearby. I kept the napkins and other trash on the fries basket and took my drink and got out. I had a bad cough as I was closing the door. I only wish the barista/cashier and customer didn't hear it.

Since my brother already went home, I have to walk to the main road. It took me about 15 minutes to get to the bus stop but there were no bus coming. It was already hot so I rode a tricycle to bring me to the next nearest bus stop.
The driver charged me Php 30 for the short distance. Anyway, at least I no longer have to wait for a bus.
I finally got into the bus. I was expecting to ride an airconditioned bus but I still got into an ordinary bus. Well, it's alright.

I headed next to a mall where the bus would usually stop. I strolled around a bit and bought some matcha flavored doughnuts and a chocolate flavored one with a bee and sunflower design. They looked cute!
I also went to Watsons to buy some vitamins, facemask, lozenges, and moisturizer.
While looking around, I heard some live music and got curious so I went near to see who it was. I don't recognize them but they were playing some love songs and there quite a lot of people watching them.
Since I no longer have other things to do and I'm afraid I would be spending more if I stay, I've decided that it's finally time to go home.
These are the doughnuts I bought. I loved the matcha flavored doughnuts, especially the one with a bar of kitkat on top! The heart-shaped doughnut was really cute though!
And here are the things I bought from Watson's. I wish I can have facemask on a weekly basis because my face gets dry from time to time and I wish the moisturizer I bought this time would be very effective in keeping my face from dryness.
These are my brother's gifts as well. I thought it was a cheddar flavored chips but it turns out to be popcorn. I still haven't tasted it but maybe it's good.

According to my phone app, I made 5,407 steps. That's about twice when I do my groceries!
And that's how I celebrated my birthday, folks! I'm really getting used to being alone now. I think my younger self would be scared going out alone. If could talk to her, I would say that it isn't that bad. You just have to learn not to care much of what people around think of you.
Now I'm waiting for my friends to reschedule our canceled meet up. Lol.
This is a late post, so belated Happy Birthday to me. :)
