Traveling to other places gives you different kind of experiences. Different place , meeting new people , learning different culture and of course tasting new foods.
Recently we are given a chance to visit another country, it is my first time doing so. This time our company took us to Thailand. When we were still planning to go there , first thing that came into my mind is , I should taste their food, because every country has a different food.
And the first food we tasted here is the Coconut Milk Ice Cream.
It is a coconut flavored Ice cream topped with ingredients of your choice . The look of it is very inviting , we saw the display from afar and it looks delicious so we all agreed to try it. It cost us 80 Baht ,that's around $2.
The seller got a young coconut, scraped the coconut meat then she put a big scoop of the Ice cream.
After that we were asked to choose three ingredients to be added . For me I chose , mango , peanut and cherry ( I'm not sure ) , but the taste is so creamy . The taste was very different compared to the Ice cream sold in the Philippines , you can really taste the full flavor of coconut in every bite.
All of us ordered the Ice cream with different toppings , the common for us all is the mango. We heard that their mango here taste different . It was fun trying it specially we were in a group , we all had the same impression , " It was really good " . And with this impression , during our stay here we ate it every day , not only that it's good but also it is perfect for the weather in Thailand.
