There is a small local church which hold mass in Latin. Very retro. They also have a bakery where they sell delicious baked goods. I have become a fan girl of their sourdough bagels. They have three offerings:
- Everything Bagels (pictured)
- Blueberry Bagels
- Chocolate Chip Bagels
So far, I have had the Everything and Blueberry versions. Let me tell you these taste like no store bought bagles. These put those cookie cutter versions to shame. I am both thrilled to have been introduced to these wonderful baked creations and I am also a bit disappointed. Why? Because now I know what a high quality bagel tastes like. Going back to store bought will be a large step down. Not sure I'll be able to do it.
My oldest son says this is countrylife problems. Once you get out of the city and discover all the good things the countryside has to offer, it's hard to go back to what you knew before. In this case, he is totally right.
