

This week I made nachos and of course jalepenos were part of the toppings. I was happily munching away when I bit into one particularly spicy jalapeno which made me rethink the remaining pile of jalapenos on my nachos. Tears sprang to my eyes, my nose started running, and I had to stop eating. Yeah, it was that spicy.
After a while, I coninued eating, but was a bit more careful about eating smaller pieces of the jalapeno slices and not big whole pieces. None of the other jalapeno pieces were tear inducing. Which made for a tasty ending to my meal.
Here is my nacho recipe:
- Corn tortilla chips
- Ground meat seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, comino, diced onions and red bell pepper
- Chopped onion, chopped tomato
- Heated nacho cheese
- Jar of jalapeno slices
- Cook the ground meat with the onion and bell pepper. Add in the seasons to taste.
- Once cooked sprinkle on top of a plate of corn tortilla ships
- Drizzle nacho cheese sauce on top
- Add raw chopped onion and tomatoes
- Add sliced jalapenos
