La temporada Géminis empieza desde el 22 de Mayo, pero la verdad es que conozco muy pocos Gemínanos de Mayo que sean cercanos, salvo mi hermana menor, la mayoría son de Junio y ya empecé con las celebraciones.
La novia de mi papá cumple el 2 de este mes y por suerte su cumpleaños cayó fin de semana así que fue una celebración constante empezando por el sábado.
Gemini season starts from May 22, but the truth is that I know very few Geminians from May that are close, except for my younger sister, most are from June and I already started with the celebrations.
My dad's girlfriend's birthday is on the 2nd of this month and luckily her birthday fell on the weekend so it was a constant celebration starting on Saturday.
Mi papá es muy bueno en la cocina pero muy rara vez hace uso de sus dotes, sin embargo, para fechas u ocasiones extraordinarias le gusta hacer algún platillo especial; como a su pareja le gusta mucho el cochino, le hizo unas costillas de cerdo al jengibre y la verdad quedaron muy buenas, para acompañar hice unas papas al horno y, lo que nunca puede faltar, las bebidas.
Fue un almuerzo entre amigos y varios trajeron sus respectivas botellas, sin embargo la que más resaltó fue un Whiskey que mi papá ha guardado desde hace 23 años y quiso abrirlo para celebrar; no soy fan del Whiskey, de hecho no me gusta, pero este sabía muy bien aunque es demasiado fuerte, por eso no seguí bebiéndolo.
My dad is very good in the kitchen but very rarely makes use of his gifts, however, for special dates or occasions he likes to make a special dish; as his partner likes pork, he made some pork ribs with ginger and they were really good, to accompany them I made some baked potatoes and, what can never be missing, the drinks.
It was a lunch among friends and several brought their respective bottles, however the one that stood out the most was a Whiskey that my dad has kept for 23 years and wanted to open it to celebrate; I am not a fan of Whiskey, in fact I don't like it, but this one tasted very good although it is too strong, that's why I didn't keep drinking it.
Ya para el domingo, su cumpleaños como tal, se celebró algo más en familia, con un pie de limón y un quesillo para festejar; fue algo muy bonito e íntimo, espero que a la pareja de mi papá le haya gustado su cumpleaños.

By Sunday, his birthday as such, we celebrated something more in family, with a lemon pie and a quesillo to celebrate; it was something very nice and intimate, I hope my dad's partner liked his birthday.
