Ensalada rusa Venezolana // Venezuelan Russian Salad

Buenas noches mis amados fanáticos de las ensaladas, hoy les vengo a traer una propuesta un poquito diferente, se trata de las ensalada rusa venezolana, esta ensalada ha estado presente en mi familia desde que tengo uso de razón, se realiza con estos ingredientes básicos: remolacha, zanahoria, papa y mayonesa.

Esta era una de las mas típicas de la cocina de mi abuela y yo le decía " ensalada de cuadritos o ensalada rosada ", me encantaba mucho la verdad y para conservar esta tradición cada cierto tiempo la hago en casa, y hoy es uno de esos días así que comparto mi receta contigo

Good evening my beloved salad fans, today I come to bring you a slightly different proposal, it is the Venezuelan Russian salad, this salad has been in my family since I can remember, it is made with these basic ingredients: beets, carrots, potatoes and mayonnaise.

This was one of the most typical of my grandmother's kitchen and I used to call it "square salad or pink salad", I loved the truth very much and to preserve this tradition I make it at home every now and then, and today is one of those days so I share my recipe with you

Para su elaboración necesitaremos:

Una remolacha grande

Una zanahoria grande

Una papa grande

Un huevo

Cebollin

Perejil

Un poco de aceite

Sal y pimienta

For its elaboration we will need:

A large beet

A large carrot

A big potato

One egg

Cebollin

Parsley

A little oil

Salt and pepper

Procedimiento // Procedure

Hervir la zanahoria, remolacha, papa y huevo

Picar en cuadritos la remolacha, zanahoria y papa, rallar el huevo, si leíste muy bien rallemos el huevo

Unimos todos los ingredientes, por ultimo le ponemos un toque de perejil y cebollin finamente picado, el único cambio que se hizo de la receta original es el huevo rallado, sustituyendo a la mayonesa como resultado una ensalada mucho mas sana, puedes agregarle el doble de papa a la receta, pero recordaras agregar mas huevo sancochado en caso de ser necesario

Boil the carrot, beet, potato and egg

Chop the beet, carrot and potato into small squares, grate the egg, if you read it very well, grate the egg

Put all the ingredients together, and finally add a touch of parsley and finely chopped chives, the only change made from the original recipe is the grated egg, replacing the mayonnaise as a result a much healthier salad, you can add double the potato to the recipe, but remember to add more boiled egg if necessary
