Biological known as VERNONIA AMYGDALINA
English name known as BITTER LEAF
Yoruba name known as Ewuro
Ibibio name known as Etidot
Igbo name known as Onugbu
Tiv name known as Ityuna
Amharic name known as Grawa
Hausa call it Chusar-doki
Edo call it Oriwo
Luganda call it muluuza
Acholi call it Labwori
This plant is a member of the daisy family which is a small medium sized shrub grown in the Tropical Africa. It is generally knoen for its good use for medicine, food and many others.
This morning, I want to give in some ideas on it's uses and importance in the human body. The plant is called Bitter leaf in English because of its bitter taste.
Bitter leaf as the English man call it contains the following Vitamins:
A, C, Ẹ, B1 AND B12
that are rich in quinine (a compound that has been demonstrated to cure MALARIA, CLEAN THE LIVER, LYMPHATIC SYSTEM AND THE HUMAN LUNGS). This plant can boost up metabolism to aid one lose weight because of nutrients like iron, fiber, zinc and carbohydrate contained in it.
Bitter leaf serves human good and better and is a better plant for healing medicine.
Bitter leaf can also serve as antibiotics as its extracts exerts antibiotic action against drug resistant micro-organisms and can also prevent or delay the onset of breast cancer in women and also diabetes.
The use of Bitter leaf is to no end but I'm this post, I'm sure you have been able to see and believe the importance of this plant in the human body system.
To enjoy in this cause, i have it locally grown in my home and as you can see, it's almost outgrown the height of the house 🏡 😂
