Hello, coffee lover. Today, we have a quick skip, which is quite long when we don’t do these to spend quality moments with the company, the food, and the person we are with. I was surprised when he asked me if I wanted to have lunch out. I’m a bit confused about what to answer. Since I’m a bit burned out of what’s going on in life, I say sure. He ask me what I want im thinking to go to simple food, but he ask me if I’m sure then I told him I want nice coffee craving for irish coffee, then he told me to go to burn restaurant have lunce then next door is we can have our dessert and coffee, then we go to the place and we spent quality time, enjoying a cozy lunch date that felt we have a quick escape from reality.

This happening is a very rare moment where time seemed to slow down, and we were completely present with each other, savoring not only the meal but the beautiful company we shared. The unplanned lunch: a cozy Irish coffee paired with a good lunch. We had been looking forward to this day for this moment, but not like before when we could afford anytime we wanted. We also came several times to this place with a warm ambiance and gentle music playing in the background made it the perfect setting for a relaxed lunch. When we arrived at the place, we sat down at our table, and we got our order to the waiter, I order steak and, and he order some sausage with French fries and also order, while waiting for our foods, we caught up on the little things in life, our conversation flowed effortlessly.



Then before we realized our food arrived the waiter serve our lunch. Each bite was a burst of flavor that complemented and the food is perfectly. We would occasionally pause, exchanging thoughts on the meal, and he commented about the sausage he ordered normally. he ordered the sausage to compare the flavor of our sausage; the sausage he ordered was also good I think we planning to make a new flavor of sausage hehehe. And we continue savoring every moment of the experience. It’s not just about the food; it was about the shared joy of enjoying something so simple yet so special. Then we found out we could order some drinks from the next door restaurant and we can continue set to the same restaurant we had our lunch.



My husband ordered me an Irish coffee and he ordered an Americano coffee, and we ordered our dessert from the restaurant where we had our lunch. Anyway, Irish coffee is quite hard to find. It is very rare for restaurants here in Malaysia to serve Irish coffee. This coffee is a cocktail drink originally from Ireland. The recipe to make this coffee is whiskey, sugar, and cream, I have been craving it for a year. There’s something so uniquely comforting about sipping on an Irish coffee the warmth spreads through maybe of how they make it with whiskey, and I can almost feel the stress of the week melt away. We exchange smiles as we have our good coffee settled perfectly on our tongues. It was a small but meaningful gesture, something we both adored. As we finished our meal and enjoyed our warm coffee and the fun of each other's company, the feeling was like that new lovers' hahaha, and the world seemed far away. Time flew, and we had to finish our coffee, and we had to go home; our kids were waiting for us at home. As we walked to the car holding hands. That cozy Irish coffee lunch date remains one of those perfect memories in our journey together, reminding us that sometimes, the best moments are the simplest ones, filled with good food, great company, and lots of laughter.
