Most of us for sure would consider the interior design of a cafe or restaurant when choosing where to have coffee or a meal. Back in 2022, yes, this blog is super overdue, my husband and I passed by this cafe while strolling in Cebu's newest mall at that time - Ayala Central Bloc. I of course immediately persuaded the husband that we should get some desserts, I guess we just finished dinner at that time.

You'd immediately notice this cafe and I bet, a lot of people had already tried coming here. But I'd like to post these photos because why not?
I went around the room right away, taking a lot of photos of every corner. Thankfully, there were only a few people around when we went in, I sometimes feel awkward taking photos when there are a lot of people around, do you feel that way too?

The above photo shows how the cafe looks from inside the mall. They got their name on there and they got those fluffy ceiling lamps which was inviting! Lights are indeed crucial in interior design and I believe that this cafe has hired a great interior designer!

There were some packed items at the entrance which were cute and I suppose those were macaroons! Those were for take aways.
Since we were here for dessert, I checked out their menu for cakes and drinks. I couldn't get coffee because it was already night at that time, if I'd got one, I might not have been able to sleep well.

Look at that array of orange lights at the ceiling! They have lots of options from yellow toast, smoothies, tea, pasta, pizza, rice meals, coffee, cakes, and a lot more! They got some really good-looking macaroons too! The pricing is on the expensive side but I understand we have to pay for the place too and how they made this extra aesthetic!

Looking at every piece of cake, if money wasn't the issue, I'd like to have a slice of everything! Tehee! But for that night, we decided to get Taro Milk Tea a slice of Chocolate, and Ube Pastillas!
So after ordering, I went to take photos again. That time, it was the Christmas season so that explains the Christmas Tree in the photo below.

Sometimes, when we go to cafes, we like to sit nearest to the most beautiful spot of the room but here at Cafe Elim, wherever you are seated, you'll get nice corners so you would not complain if the other spaces were taken.
This below was where my husband and I sat together with our little one. Matti was still two years old at that time. We were in Cebu City for my husband's company Christmas Party, we stayed in IT Park for a week and every single night, we would go around IT Park for dinner. At that time, we had dinner on the third floor I guess of Central Bloc, and only found Cafe Elim after.

Look at that fluffy hanging lamp! The walls, after inspecting were just PVC pipes used in construction and were painted white. It runs from the wall to the ceiling. And the hanging curtains were not made of cloth but of a kinda metal material in bronze or purple-ish color. So it drops to the floor nicely.

Opposite, where we were seated, were walls that looked like doors, it's just for design though but it still looks cool!
For big groups, this center table would suit well, it has beautiful butterfly figures hanging and the moon looking circles which were lighted up and placed on a tray with I guess sand in it was definitely cool too!

The cafe can accommodate a lot of groups and they have different options and types of tables and chairs but everywhere you sit, you'll have an Insta-worthy corner.

Here's a wider shot of where we were seated:

Take a photo or it didn't happen! My little one enjoyed the chocolate cake for sure as he ate most of it, and my husband and I shared the Ube Pastillas and Taro Milk Tea.
And look at their beautiful fork! I made sure to take a photo of it because it's just so pretty!

Cakes were good! For the milk tea, I guess I need to try other options next time and perhaps we must visit the cafe in the morning for a cup of coffee
If you are in IT Park area! Make sure to check out Elim Central! Bring your family or friends with you and have a great convo over their good food and drinks!
