This was around 2 weeks back in Muscat, there was a Thai festival organized at one of the city Mall. Most of these festivals are organized during winters, and it was surprising that this time the event was held in summer time. It was indoors so it was good because then there is air-condition, else in the heat that we have right now, no one would turn up for this type of event.
It was a very well organized event. Since it was indoors we thought it would be a small affair which ideally is the case whenever these kind of events happen in summer. Again here to my surprise it was not a small set up, it was a nice big set up with lot of outlets offering a variety of Thai things. There were food stalls, clothes, accessories, beauty products and quite a lot. I bought some food items, like Thai curry, prawn crackers and variety of nuts. The festival was for 4 days and the day we visited was the last one, so they were even dropping prices of the items. Like the Thai curry paste box was 3 Rials and they sold it to us for 2 Rials. Like that there were good offers on all the products.

Then there is food, some of the local Thai cuisines.
Inside this were tables laid to sit and eat. Quite a fancy structure.
It was a nice evening spent here, taking a look at variety of things, shopping a few items and savoring on some Thai cuisine.
