Today I join the Creative Sunday initiative. A pleasure to share once again with you. This time I bring you a recipe that inspired me for a cold awakening of this Sunday. The need to create something comforting and healthy was born. When I opened the fridge I found an apple and some ripe cambur, and at that moment, I decided to make a different, warm and delicious breakfast, thus was born the preparation of these apple and banana crepes. The perfect combination of simple ingredients and the homemade touch transform these everyday ingredients into a delicious and extraordinary breakfast.
Without further ado, here are the ingredients and the step-by-step:
For the crepe batter:
-1 cup wheat flour
-2 eggs
-1 cup of water
-4 tablespoons of powdered milk
-1 pinch of salt
-3 tablespoons of sugar
-1 tablespoon butter
For the apple and cambur filling:
-1 apple
-2 camburs
-2 tablespoons sugar
-1 tablespoon cinnamon
For sprinkling and decorating:
-Crystal sugar
-Apple slices to taste
-Sliced apples to taste
𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝕊𝕖𝕡𝕥 𝕓𝕪 𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕡:
- We start by mashing the bananas. we set aside.

- Add the water, milk, wheat flour and eggs to the blender. Blend at high speed until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.*

- To this mixture we are going to add the crushed camburs, sugar, salt and butter.

- Return the mixture to the blender, blending until the ingredients are uniformly integrated and the mixture has a smooth texture.

- Let's proceed with the preparation of the pancakes. In a budare, add a touch of butter and pour a ladle of the mixture. Spread the dough to give it a round shape. When it is browned on one side, we turn it over and allow it to brown on the other side. Remove the crepe and continue this process until the mixture is used up.
- Cut the apple in half, keeping the skin on, and cut it into small squares.
- Cut the banana into slices.
- Add a tablespoon of butter at room temperature in a frying pan, wait until it melts and then add the apple and banana pieces. Add the sugar and the spoonful of cinnamon powder.
- We wait for the ingredients to cook and reach a point of caramelization.Once this point is reached, remove the mixture from the heat, let it cool and then add it to the pancakes.
- Serve the crepes and decorate them with apple and cambur slices.To finish, sprinkle powdered sugar on top and enjoy these delicious apple and cambur pancakes!.
