Looks like Pakistans had same mentality with African parents. Those days, my parents will always play this gender roles in my family..boys having a different chores with ladies. Cooking was never meant for the boys. They only seat down to eat. Can you imagine that? Lolz

I really found it weird and trust me, I am training my boys on how to cook all kinds of food. Infact, they have started already, handling little things in my kitchen. Every skill is necessary for both genders

If I tell you what my twin brother passed through in the university because he lacked cooking skill, you will pity him
