Hello everyone, travel enthusiasts!
I wanted to share with you the experience of my evening yesterday when I decided to make a short visit to Parma, a fascinating city located in the enchanting region of Emilia Romagna, renowned for its rich culinary tradition, especially for Parma ham and local cheeses. I think this place needs no introduction; for food and music lovers, Parma is known worldwide.
The reason for my trip was a friendly meeting with friends I hadn't seen in a while, residing in the province of Parma. Friends you haven't seen for a long time, and it's just right to meet occasionally. We opted for a famous local pizzeria, where I couldn't resist ordering a pizza with Parma ham. The surprise was positive: high-quality ingredients and a crust that, in my opinion, was really well-made, very good!
Before indulging in the pizza, I decided to take a short tour to explore the city; I am always a curious person. Parma, with its population of over 200,000 inhabitants, has a size that makes it anything but small. One of the main attractions that struck me was the view of the cathedral and the baptistery. The photos I took partially show the ongoing restoration work, but the beauty of the architecture is still evident. Unfortunately, time did not allow me to visit the numerous museums, churches, and historical buildings that enrich the city since I arrived just before closing, and in any case, exploring everything takes time.
In conclusion, I can say that I was satisfied with this trip, despite the fatigue of the daily journey from Milan; it's quite a few hours by car, and I'm not a big fan of driving. The pizza was certainly a highlight, but the city also offered picturesque views and points of interest worth exploring. Parma, not too large but definitely worth visiting, can certainly be explored in a day.
I thank all of you for reading, and I hope the photos I shared can convey some of the atmosphere of this evening. I find it right to share these experiences, considering that I don't often have the opportunity to travel during the week; that's why I create limited content. Wishing everyone a pleasant evening!
