Hello, this is natz04 and welcome to my #blog. It's been awhile since I've been here in this community, and happy abiding with the rules and guidelines. Although in different communities but with the same intention inorder for us to grow better in Hive. And as part of my presence in the community, I'd trying my best to submit with my activities as soon as possible this weekend.
So what I've done in the morning, I'd prepare something food which mostly known in my province here in San Remigio, Cebu, Philippines. Which is in Visayan name "linusak na saging saba or mashed banana" recipe.
So how it to be prepared and cook and its ingredients and utensils that to be used? First of all, I'll just simply put the saba banana in a pot then add water enough to level into it. Cook it in twenty to thirty minutes with direct woodfire. While it is cook then leave it alone until it is properly cooked.
Then immediately proceed preparing with the ingredients and utensils I used. Which is the ingredients for this recipe are; brown sugar, scrape matured coconut and of course saba banana.
Then the utensils are; ancient mortar and pestle, the most important materials in making this recipe. Which it is still inherited from the grandparents of our lolo and lola, so slightly antique.
So how it I prepared:
• I've put the cook saba banana inside the mortar which enough to mashed. While mashing, sprinkle the scrape mature coconut together with the brown sugar. Put sugar enough it to be sweet or at your own taste convenience.
• And when it is properly mash and mix, put it in a mold to form. Then that's it, very easyway and ready to serve and eat, starving satisfied.
And in the afternoon, inorder to enjoy most our province vacation time on my hometown. Which we are going to the corn farmland of our dear parents. Accompanied with my father and the whole family together their cousin we visited the farmland and also get and choose some young corn for food. Actually, this is one of our favourite leisures and adventure when we are here in the province. So that's why, I'd never get bored going back in my hometown which I really looking back the place where I was born.
Which it is really fun and enjoy to be in my province. Away from the civilization, away from the crowd of the people and of course less air pollution and can be able also to smell a fresh air above the corn plantation. The sound of a cricket that whestling upon the ear. And capturing also a shot of the blue sky that highlight above the corn plantation. Its green leaves that give relaxation and perfectly alligned to the stem going up to it's flower. Which insects, worms and beetles attracts too much. And beside also was the banana plantation, what really a perfect creation of man and nature.
Then for my children and their cousin, which they are such fun and enjoy in roaming around the open corn farmland, and freely playing in the open fields.
And since I have mention food and province and mostly what activities I've done when I was here, I've always put in mind is grilling a young corn. Which is a flashback of my childhood days and experience, a starving satisfies again.
Exploring and sharing this simple life in the #province was such fun and memorable. And hope it give some inspiration and take a time reading into my blog. So until next, thank you and have a blessed weekend everyone.
Regards,
