A creator subscription costs $5 per month to subscribe to a creator offering this feature. By subscribing, you're supporting that author and gaining access to exclusive content. As a creator, you gain a new way to monetize on top of the already existing rewards pool.
This tool can be used in various ways. One idea is to crowdfund projects and give contributors behind-the-scenes access. It's really up to the creator to decide what kind of value they want to offer their audience.
The platform fees start at 5% and drop to 1% after 50 subscribers. This is a very low fee, allowing creators to keep a larger share of their subscription revenue compared to other services.
