I love going on dates either with friends or with families. I bet we all do, don't we? I mean who doesn't love spending moments with their loved ones, right?
Hello dear Hive friends! Now, here's a little throwback from one of my dates with my older sister. My sister always takes me to dates and treats me with delicious foods, that is what we usually do whenever we go on dates, we eat yummy foods, stroll around, and eat hahahaha. Yeah, we do eat a lot. Aside from watching Korean dramas and anime together, we bond through foods.
This time, last January 19, Sunday, I asked her out and treated her for a meal in our favorite and go-to-fastfood chain. It's a local fastfood restaurant here in the Philippines and every Filipino loves it. It's Jollibee! Eating there can make anyone happy. A perfect place to share a meal with your family or friends.
I ordered the place's classic chicken that brings joy to those who take a bite into it. It's crispy, juicy, and savory! And it goes well with rice along with its gravy. I really wish to know the secret recipe of their gravy cause it's flippin' bomb to the taste buds.
My sister got the spicy one, while the non-spicy one for me (but I should have gotten the spicy for a challenge). Talking about it right now makes my mouth water. I wanna order someeee 😭!
We also got a coke float, fries (my favorite), and a yum(my) burger. I've been to the place multiple times since I was born, making it uncountable for me.
Aside from the stuffs I already mentioned, another go-to-menu for us whenever we eat there, are their burger steak with rice. They also got their sweet and yummy spaghetti which is my sister's fav.
So if you're traveling in the Philippines and haven't tried Jollibee, you really gotta! You know, it's something you shouldn't missed in your itinerary when visiting in the Philippines. Although there are multiple franchises of the chain in other countries, the local ones just taste different.
Or if you are a local and is trying to decide where to eat with your loved ones at the moment, then I'm vouching for Jollibee tehe!
Anyway, after having our very much delicious meal, my sister and I strolled around the city, went inside the malls, looked around and went to get some stuffs from the grocery.
My sister bought me a chocolate as an early Valentine present. There were variety of choices, the place was like heaven for chocolate lovers.
As we were in the line to pay for the stuffs we got, some staffs from the mall performed the Sinulog dance, since it was also the day of celebration for the Sinulog Festival in Cebu. It's our way to honor and to offer our heartfelt thanks to Senior Santo Niño.
Our simple little Sundate turned out great! A memorable moment to look back into. It was a well spent Sunday indeed.
