It has been a very hard process, because after being settled in Uruguay we had to go back to look for another country to continue consolidating what we started when we arrived in that beautiful country.
Before I continue, I would like to thank all the Uruguayans for the welcome, the attentions and the good treatment they gave me in the South American country.
Now, my husband and I are looking for a new destination and, in spite of how hard this process has been, we have found people who have made the road more bearable and have given us their help in solidarity.
It is true that the family of blood touches you, but you choose this other family and you do it because there are several traits with which you identify. Sometimes it is the character that you empathize with, sometimes it is the way they think and feel or the life stories that move you.
Either way, I want to make it clear that in our nostalgia for our land and our family Francisca and Henry have been a bulwark of good will and the shelter in which we have hidden against the cold of emigration.
It happens that because of our religious faith we have been going to church and they found out about our situation and in the most loving way possible they offered us their house so that we could visit them during this weekend and forget about our economic problems and be able to have peace, tranquility, share with our family and be able to feed ourselves in the best way possible because we have not been able to feed ourselves in the best way because the money is not enough for all the migratory procedures, rent and other basic services.
With this publication I want to thank Francisca and Henry for all the attentions they have had with us and, above all, for giving us this food and this solidarity that has filled us with life and hope.
