We decided to revisit Warung Batas Kota for dinner, a charming little restaurant located at the border of Negara town.
After driving for about ten minutes, we turned from the main road into a small alley. We followed the alley for about two hundred meters until it ended, and there we found the restaurant.
The entrance opens up to lush gardens with tables thoughtfully placed throughout the yard, surrounded by gardens and plantations. At night, the nearby rice plants look quite mysterious, and the decorative trees and plantations around the restaurant enhance its beauty.
We started with French fries as an opening dish, which we all enjoyed together. For dinner, my son and I chose chap chai chicken with rice, my daughter ordered fried rice, and my wife had sapo tofu. For drinks, we had a variety: avocado juice for my son, iced tea for my daughter, plain water for me, and hot tea for my wife.
The portions were big, and I felt quite full afterward. The chap chai tasted great, and I really enjoyed it. My son couldn’t finish his meal because he was already full.
It was another delightful visit, with the food and ambiance as enjoyable as ever.
