make delicious healthy Chinese cabbage soup even without oil

in Plant Power (Vegan)10 months ago

Hello, today I made a simple but delicious and healthy menu, because I didn't use oil.
I made Chinese cabbage soup with tomatoes according to the request of my father-in-law, who happens to be reducing the consumption of oil for his health.
Well, usually we can cook cabbage into various types of menus, mixed with animal protein or for vegan menus.

This time I made a vegan menu without added animal protein. Immediately, I will invite you to prepare the ingredients and how to cook it.

Materials used:

1 chinese Cabbage weighs approximately 250 grams
1 red tomato

Spice
4 red onions
2 pieces of garlic
To taste granulated sugar, salt and mushroom stock

How to make

• prepare all the chopped cabbage, ingredients and wash them with running water until clean and drain.

• chop the shallots and garlic. For the spices used, just slice them, no need to grind them.

• Boil water in a pan then pour in the chopped shallots and garlic and cook until the aroma comes out.

• add the cabbage that have been cut and washed clean.

• season with sugar, pepper, salt and mushroom stock until you get the right taste. Cook until the cabbage is half wilted

• Add red tomato slices then cook again until cooked.

• cabbage vegetable soup is ready to be served as a complement, you can add a sprinkling of fried onions.

So, this is my practical way to cook cabbage even without oil and only using simple spices, but it tastes delicious and is suitable to serve in cold weather.

Hi @indahayuu

I know that there are different cultures, different ways of preparing food according to the country; however, I know that Indonesian cuisine has some wonderful recipes. It would be great to see something less simple. I know you can cook good vegan dishes.

Greetings. Happy weekend.

hi @sirenahippie thank you for your input, I will learn more about preparing vegan menus in the future to make them more interesting and better, thank you

We are all learning. You can consult other social networks and recipe books, so that you can document yourself regarding vegan recipes, (and non-vegan ones too, if you want to publish on Foodies Bee Hive), only it would be cool if you copy a recipe, say in your post where you got it from.

Greetings.

OK, I'll remember that @sirenahippie thanks for your input and support me
