How to make a legume soup appetizing (Eng/Esp)

Good evening Hivers how are you? Here the temperatures are increasingly colder and harsher and we are all a bit cold, in these days I have been a bit absent, my husband was free and we dedicated ourselves to various errands and spending time together with our goddaughter.

Tonight we wanted something hot, here the supermarkets often sell preparations of mixed legumes or soup to be made in a pot. We took a mix of legumes with cannellini and borlotti beans, spelled and lentils.

These soups can also be cooked simply by placing them in the broth for about an hour but I preferred to make it more appetizing, thanks to some advice I saw on the internet.

To make this recipe you will need:

  • 90 grams of legume mix in a bag
  • 4 potatoes
  • 100 grams of tomato pulp
  • 500 ml of vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons of salt
  • 3 fine carrots

First, peel the potatoes carefully and cut them into cubes.

  • 100 gramos de pulpa de tomate
  • 500 ml de caldo de verduras
  • 3 cucharadas de sal
  • 3 zanahorias finas

It's tedious work but the result will be delicious! When it is ready, pour it hot and if you wish, accompany it with two slices of bread. Enjoy your meal!

Luego hacemos lo mismo con las zanahorias, las pelamos bien y las cortamos en rodajas, mientras tanto preparamos una olla con el caldo de verduras a hervir y añadimos las legumbres, dejamos hervir diez minutos y luego añadimos poco a poco la pulpa del tomate, Mezclamos vigorosamente y salamos todo, cocinamos y mezclamos durante aproximadamente una hora. ¡Es un trabajo tedioso pero el resultado será delicioso! Delicious vegetable soup is really delicious to eat during winter.
