How are you,Good evening to all my dear friends. Today is a very sunny day. And a very hot day. It is very difficult to stay inside the house. However, today was a very busy day. In the rest of the afternoon, I felt like trying something new. This is actually the first time I made this. It took a little effort to make. Everything was not as easy as I thought. But I love this dish. It is a good and nutritious dish that can be given to underweight babies. That is pumpkin cutlets. Let's see how to make it.

Ingredients;

  • 250g of pumpkin
  • A normal sized onion
  • Two cloves of garlic
  • Three pods of green chillies
  • A few curry leaves
  • 40g of breadcrumbs
  • 75ml of oil
  • A teaspoon of salt powder
  • A teaspoon of black pepper

  • A teaspoon of chilli powder

The method of making;

First, we need to remove the skin of the pumpkin, cut it into small pieces, wash and clean these pieces, and boil or steam them.

Next, we will wash and finely chop the large salt, two garlic cloves, green chilies, and curry leaves.

Then, mashed the boiled or steamed pumpkin pieces.

As you add the mashed pumpkin to the bowl, add the chopped garlic, curry leaves, green chilies, and onion.

Now add mashed potatoes to the bowl.

Afterthat add salt and pepper.

Mix well.

Add chilli powder.

Add five tablespoons of wheat flour.(Here we had to add flour because of the water content in the batter. When you mash it, the water content increases. Therefore, the liquid content of this mixture is more. It would be better if you could add cornstarch instead of wheat flour.)

Mix well all.

This mixture is fairly liquid and we have to apply breadcrumbs twice.

Once the oil is hot, fry the cutlets on low heat for about six to seven minutes until golden brown on both sides.
