Sofia does look beautiful. Looking at your lunch the presentation reminded me of some Turkish food we enjoy, considering the proximity to Turkey it makes sense there would be cultural exchange.

This post lead me down a rabbit hole, reading about Bulgaria's economy.

It's good the protests were peaceful when you went by and your kids got to see that aspect of public life.

lol. You and @meno busted me. I had eaten the described meal, but missed getting a photo of it. So i snuck in a photo of another meal we had in Sofia, but it was at a Turkish Cafe...so you nailed it. Very perceptive!
And yeah, we were talking to a waitress about the protest. She was explaining that many feel it was a mistake joining the European Union because life has gotten too expensive for everyday people.

p.s. not sure if you saw i put out another song. It was a live Kaledera cut we recorded the day before i left Guatemala, pretty pleased with how it turned out and i thought you may like it🤟
