Today I went grocery shopping at the Santa Isabel supermarket in downtown Olmué. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was quiet, typical of a weeknight in this small town.
I went in with my list in hand, the supermarket was relatively empty, which made the experience much more relaxed. As usual I wandered all the aisles, the supermarket employees, always friendly, were restocking shelves and helping the few customers present. I found everything I needed, although the truth is that I went to buy few things, but I like going to the supermarket. I took the opportunity to buy some cleaning products and, of course, some snacks for the week.
While I was waiting in line to pay, I noticed how quiet the place was. Unlike the supermarkets in the big cities, here there was no rush or stress. I love shopping like this, it relaxes me to tell you the truth, so I share with you what some supermarkets are like here in Chile, this one is small compared to others in bigger cities.

Hoy fui a hacer compras de provisiones al supermercado Santa Isabel, que queda en el centro de Olmué. Al llegar, el ambiente era tranquilo, típico de una noche de semana en esta pequeña ciudad.
Entré con mi lista en mano, supermercado estaba relativamente vacío, lo cual hacía la experiencia mucho más relajada. Como de costumbre recorrí todos los pasillos, los empleados del supermercado, siempre amables, estaban reponiendo estantes y ayudando a los pocos clientes presentes. Encontré todo lo que necesitaba, aunque la verdad fui a comprar pocas cosas, pero me gusta ir a supermercado. Aproveché de comprar algunos productos de limpieza y, por supuesto, unos snacks para la semana.
Mientras hacía fila para pagar, observé la tranquilidad del lugar. A diferencia de los supermercados en las grandes ciudades, aquí no había prisa ni estrés. Me encanta ir a comprar así, me relaja a decir verdad, así que les comparto cómo son algunos supermercados aquí en Chile, este es pequeño en comparación a otros que hay en ciudades más grandes.
