Oh wow, you're totally new too? And my application (HiveStreams) was one of the first things you found? It started on hive, about the same day you did! LOL, but it's not my first time, I've been here 7 years now, and built older now-defunct streaming platforms for niche communities here in the past. This is the first one for "everybody!" to use though. Welcome to ... well ... ALL of this! Enjoy the journey here!

Learn about voting for witnesses (mine is @pollenation) and learn about the currencies and exchanges and all the things, but mostly? Just be interested and interesting, and the rest will come in time.

There are some great discords for new users too like "The Terminal" which can be found here: https://discord.gg/uRsrNDxTjF and the folks in there will help you figure it all out!

Hey man, yeah thanks for that. You and I had a long chat in Witty's server the other night, you spent quite a lot of time in Britain with your British wife. I was on Steemit for a little while but not for long, but I know you are one of the good guys. It's great to see you here and even greater to see you doing your thang on the platform.

Crazy that I start at the same time as you launch Hive Streams, I reckon something is trying to get me into streaming!

Oh I remember that chat in the blur of the past few weeks here. Good stuff, glad you found the Alliance too, (Wittys server) which I didn't mention when I told you about the Terminal because The Alliance is more of an elite family, advanced class mostly :) But glad you got in there too! Some of the very best peeps in both the "Castle' and the Terminal. You're in good hands.
