I recently purchased a wine from Portugal that had a unique label. I admit that the label was the only reason why I bought it. I'm easily swayed by advertising, particularly when it comes with good or interesting design.
The label depicts an old vintage map that depicts the known world during the age of discovery in Portugal.
Portuguese explorers discovered the Silk and Spice routes to the east in the 1500s: spices such nutmeg, cinnamon, and pepper changing world cuisine, while silk from China was prized for its luxurious softness.

I enjoyed the little details on the label. I poured myself a glass during election night in the US and kept an eye on the historic events.
