#760 - Manila shots for Saturday.

Happy weekend dearest Hiveans. It's somehow not that sunny early today but cloudy which means it was less hotter during the day time. When my wife and I ended our shift at six she asked me to boil some rice and prepared cabbage and beef so she can cook them for breakfast. She added some mushrooms to it and tomotoes with garlic and onions. She just stir fried it with pepper and taste good. Then we slept at the same time and woke up early at lunch. I was supposed to do the laundry but she said do ot tomorrow as she needs more sleep. I just then went out in the afternoon for a quick walk in the river to burn some calories and keep my body in shape.

For today shots I will bring us hack to a couple of weeks moments when my wife and I went to Chinatown after we finished an early morning jog in the university near us. She wanted to visit Chinatown because she missed going there during the new year of the Chinese so we went. Going there we passed by one of the gates of the walled City Intramuros which is a way faster for us instead of of going to the Jones bridge.

But before passing the walled city we first got through this bridge connecting the Quiapo area going to the walled city. There was a heavy long line of traffic we passed by before making our way here because of the church in Quiapo which is visited by many people and that means lots pf public vehicles has to stop there too to drop and pick passengers.

Then in Chinatown one of the spots we went to which is not packed with people is an old Chinese stall that sells fresh lumpia. They sell each one $2 and my wife and I bought two then after waiting in line for about ten minutes we got our orders and we also decided to eat it on the same spot where the store is even though there is no dine in there, we just sat on the table that was in the alley where the store is located.

Then on our way home there is a stopover that we did because the wife wanted to eat something from this Japanese inspired ice cream which is packed inside this thing. There wasn't a long queue in this store unlike those in Chinatown wherein you have to stand a long line before you can make an order.

The store is small but the food they serve are definitely tasty. It was my first time trying this kind of ice cream that is covered with something soft made out of carbohydrates then their tea is also great but the price is somehow above beyond my expectations.
