Honey can be a really underrated ingredient in savoury food. Drizzled over cheese or vegetables can really lift a meal and I love how it adds a 'from the earth' kinda vibe.

I've been frying eggplant with cummin and serving with a drizzle of honey and some crumbled goat cheese --- so good!

I totally agree with you, honey really adds an extra flavour! I must admit that honey and goat's cheese should go well with eggplant, I'll have to try it! 😋
