FOODlog #1314: Ginger Steamed Barramundi

Cooked ginger steamed fish one of the days last week for our staff meal. Steam fish is one of my go to ways of cooking fish especially on days where there's lots of prep to do and we don't have much time to cook staff meals.

Since it's we are occupied with other work preps, steam fish is an easy quick to prepare dish that I like to make.

I simply made a ginger sauce by blitzing together ginger and garlic together with soy sauce, salt, and white pepper. I added some sugar too but after making the dish, do not add sugar!

I used Barramundi for the fish as its perfect fish for this type of dish - soft and tender and soaks up the delicious topping or sauce you put together.

Made an omelet with fried onions on top as well and that was our meal for the night before a busy night of service.
