En nuestra búsqueda de un nuevo postre para probar, mi esposo y yo decidimos ir a Carrefour y les cuento que vimos una gran mesa con un montón de postres que se veían realmente deliciosos pero yo no tuve que mirar dos veces cuando ya sabía lo que quería comer, pues como soy amante de las semillas de amapolas en los postres, claro que iba a elegir el Makowiec, un postre típico navideño de Polonia y que no es más que un rollo de bizcocho horneado, relleno con semillas de amapolas (por supuesto) y decorado con chocolate y frutos secos, aunque este no era un postre nuevo para nosotros pues ya lo habíamos comido la navidad anterior, bueno yo, pues supongo que mi esposo por ser polaco tiene toda la vida comiéndolo jajaja.
Ahora bien, el Makowiec de Carrefour es de 500 gramos, y después de comer medio de este con mi esposo apenas lo compramos, puedo decirles que es realmente delicioso, a mi me encanta, especialmente por las semillas de amapolas y por las nueces, aunque también trae arándanos secos, chocolate blanco y un montón de ingredientes más que hacen este postre único y muy sabroso y que si algún día tienes la oportunidad de probar, te recomiendo que no lo dudes porque seguramente te va a encantar tanto como a nosotros, además el precio es muy bueno también, 22,09 eslotis o 5,5 dólares aproximadamente que valen totalmente la pena. Y a ustedes también les encantan los postres con semillas de amapolas?

In our search for a new dessert to try, my husband and I decided to go to Carrefour and I tell you that we saw a big table with a lot of desserts that looked really delicious but I didn't have to look twice when I already knew what I wanted to eat, because as I am a lover of poppy seeds in desserts, of course I was going to choose the Makowiec, a typical Polish Christmas dessert which is nothing more than a baked sponge roll, filled with poppy seeds (of course) and decorated with chocolate and nuts, although this was not a new dessert for us because we had already eaten it the previous Christmas, well me, because I guess my husband, being Polish, has been eating it all his life hahaha.
Now, the Carrefour Makowiec is 500 grams, and after eating half of it with my husband as soon as we bought it, I can tell you that it is really delicious, I love it, especially for the poppy seeds and walnuts, although it also has dried cranberries, white chocolate and a lot of other ingredients that make this dessert unique and very tasty and if someday you have the opportunity to try it, I recommend you not to hesitate because you will surely love it as much as we do, plus the price is very good too, 22.09 eslotis or 5.5 dollars approximately that are totally worth it. And do you also love desserts with poppy seeds?
