RE: First Time Trying Fried Bread and Fried Radish Cakes

in Foodies Bee Hivelast year

I have never heard of fried radish cakes. I do like the vegetable and normally would eat just as it is as a snack, in a salad or on a sandwich. My mum normally grows them in a garden. Normally we do not cook them, just eat raw.
The bread looks very tasty too!

Sort:

Raw radish has strong smell? I never eat them before. So those cakes are my first time but I would love to try them fresh

They do have smell, but not very strong. They can be a bit spicy though. Fresh ones should be crunchy and juicy. I like them a lot :) My favourite way is probably on a bread with some cottage cheese and green onions. Like this:

Try one if you get a chance.

Thank you. I would try to buy the fresh one 😊
