Looks fantastic! Will make it soon for sure! Comfort food in the winter is the best. Thank you so much for sharing!

Season of soups and curries now, anything reasonably priced and accessed... !LOLZ

For sure. Going to stock up on the soups and so on, as it freezes so well. Just grab a bowl from the fridge, defrost, easy dinner. Just back some bread as well.

I need to try bread again, did when younger and I failed horribly, my loaves would/could have built a house 🙃

Oh I know all about it, do not crucify yourself, we were all there! The problem, in my opinion, is people do not want to give you all the secrets. So many bread books that I own only give you a bit of the needed information, the rest is just things they need to fill the pages with. One day if I get the opportunity, I will teach people how to bake bread, as I needed to do it when I worked in the bakery (I helped all of the others who needed to bake as well). Couple of key tips and tricks will get anyone to bake incredible breads.

Secret recipes something most families hold onto, normally a slight twist off the next that makes it complete different. !LOLZ

Why was Pavlov's beard so soft?
Because he conditioned it.

That is probably how all these different recipes we have come about! Every family tweaking it a bit resulting in new recipes further down the line.

Forefathers arrived in a land of plenty, did not know good from bad, had to keep recipes and knowledge to preserve or even how to cook a plate of nutritious food.

I always look for the old cook books in second hand bookstores, there are real gems in there, and the older forefathers had tremendous knowledge about different foods we no longer use.
