With some cash in my pocket, I go on a walk without any idea of what to buy in the market. It's like an adventure without any plan or any list of things that I should get. It's just me, my earphones, and some cash. In my head, whatever caught my eye in the wet market, I'll just get that and go home.
The weather's nice, it's a perfect weather to do some quick shopping. I arrived in the market without even noticing it as I was too focus with the song i'm listening into. The lyrics too catchy, same with the beat that I can't help but vibin' in it. It goes like: I don't play, you know, we keep it hunnid. Cop, coppin' all that sh/t whenever I want it. It's that, it's that beast mode as Rengar calls it. Got trophies in the bag, 'cause of STAY, we lock in (Yeah, yeah). You can listen to the full song in here, it's called Truman.
Anyways, there's not much fish in the market. I don't like chicken or pork, but then I saw some seller selling a Galunggong. This is really good if fried. But then I thought if I fried it, we don't have soup to pair with is. And so, I bought half kilo of the Galunggong to fry it, but I also spared a few pieces to make a soup out of it.

So here's the fresh Galunggong that I bought for 100 pesos, that's half kilo only.

I also bought a few pieces of Okra and a tie of Sweet Potato Leaves. Seeing the Galunggong made me thought of this particular soup dish with fish.
Here's the other ingredients of our dish today; tomatoes, onions and garlic. Actually Mom wants me to use Calamias, but I told her that tomatoes taste good in this recipe. So she give me a go signal to use tomatoes.
So I put 7 pieces of galunggong, together with the tomatoes, onions and garlic. I seasoned it with salt and some msg. Just a little bit to make it taste even better.

While waiting for the fish soup to boil, I started frying the rest of the galunggong in the other available stove burner. And here they are. This is the best to eat with soy sauce and calamansi, or spicy vinegar, there's banana ketchup too. Or if you want an even better version, you can eat it with raw tomatoes sprinkled with salt. It's the best!

Going back to the fish soup, once the fish was already cook, I transfered the fish in a bowl and put the vegetable next. They are easy to cook so I put the okra and sweet potato leaves at the same time.

And after two minutes, it's done. I put the the fish next and it's really DONE!

Serves while it's still hot! I enjoyed sipping it's sour soup, that is thanks to the tomatoes of course. I couldn't take a photo of it but I prepared a special sauce for my Okra here and that's a soy sauce with calamansi. And with that, our Lunch give us a warmth feeling thanks to the hot fish soup that is filled with green leafy vegetables and tomatoes.
