This cookie is very popular in my area, this cookie is always there when there are big celebrations, even this cookie is an expensive cookie if sold in the market for the price of 1 kilogram it can reach Rp. 200,000, quite expensive in my opinion, that's why I took the initiative to make it myself at home, I don't know why this cookie is expensive sold in the market, maybe because the filling is pineapple jam, but luckily I made the pineapple jam yesterday. So today I just have to make the cookie dough.
A very popular cake in my area is Nastar cake, this Nastar cake has been around for a long time, even since I was little, this cake was always made by my mother and grandmother, even until now my mother never misses making this cake when Eid arrives. And I myself also really like this cake, for some reason the taste is sweet, savory and with the pineapple jam filling that makes me want to keep eating it
My Favorite Nastar Cake
The process of making Nastar cookies can take up to an hour for 1 kilogram of flour, my friends, what makes it long is when the other baking process is not long, just stir the dough until evenly distributed. Then put in the pineapple jam filling and then coat it with egg yolk on top, so that the color will be beautiful later.
Materials used
1 piece of pineapple jam
1/2 kg of margarine
4 eggs
1 sachet of powdered milk
200 grams of powdered sugar
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp sp
1 tbsp vanilla
Making process
Add the margarine and mix it evenly, then add cornstarch, slowly... then continue adding the eggs, vanilla, powdered milk, and all the other ingredients.

then add the flour by sifting it, until it is all gone. knead the dough until the dough can be shaped, don't make it too hard because if the dough is hard when baked it will crack.

Next, prepare the pineapple jam into small balls, take the dough and flatten it then fill it with the pineapple jam, round it again and are ready to be baked.Before baking, brush egg yolk on top of the cake.

RESULTS
In 1 kg of wheat flour produces 4-jars of Nastar cookies, but this also depends on how you shape them, I shape them into small balls like in the picture, and in terms of taste, there is no doubt that it is very soft, sweet and savory.
