Yeah, I heard people in Europe are boycotting products from the US in supermarkets too. I wonder if that will have any effect.
This isn't good for any economy.
Definitely not good for anyone. Trump's big mistake (stupidity?) is his belief that everyone else in the world is just going to roll over and play dead because USA is bigger and more powerful...
I think the boycotts work to some degree. Kentuckians are already whining about their whiskey being pulled from the shelves in Canada. FAFO 65% of Kentucky voters.
He doesn't drink, but his rich friends may feel the pinch in their cellars.
The US cannot make Champagne as it has to come from that region of France.
He does w(h)ine a lot though.
I won't be surprised if he ignores that fact and still allows US brands to call it champagne.
