Recently, a friend and I were craving seafood, and we found this place called La Playa. While "la playa" usually means "the beach," here in Peru, it often refers to a parking lot. So, seeing that the restaurant’s name actually referred to the sea 🌊 was pretty funny.
What did we order? I got seafood rice that came in a pot—yes, that was the presentation, quite unique! And my friend ordered a duo: seafood rice + ceviche.
The cherry on top of this menu was the drinks. We had special lemonades—mine was with mint, and it was a solid 10/10. My friend’s was a red fruit lemonade 😍, and both were delicious.
The best part of this outing, besides the great food and company, was that the place was close by—no need to suffer through traffic to enjoy a good meal! 😋
¡Que nunca te hagan falta los planes con buena compañía al lado! Recientemente una amiga y yo tuvimos antojo de comida marina y encontramos este lugar llamado La Playa, aunque puede ser un nombre común acá en Perú "la playa" es el estacionamiento. Así que ver que el nombre del local realmente refiere al mar 🌊 fue divertido.
¿Qué pedimos? Yo me pedí un arroz con mariscos que llegó en una olla, sí esa fue la presentación, muy curiosa por cierto. Y mi amiga pidió un dúo: arroz con mariscos + ceviche.
La cereza de este menú fueron las bebidas, eran unas limonadas especiales, la mía era con hierba buena y estaba 10/10. Y el de mi amiga fue una limonada de frutos rojos 😍 ambas estaban ricas.
Lo mejor de la salida aparte de la compañía y la comida fue que estábamos cerca, no tuvimos que sufrir el tráfico para comer rico 😋
