My 56th Instacart paycheck 💸 🛒

February is the shortest month of the year, so I've been grinding extra hard all month. The first week was rough. The second was twice as good. Now let's see how the third week of February went for me.

Monday, February 12th

Tuesday, February 13th

No work

Wednesday, February 14th

I spent most of Wednesday getting some blog work done but did have the app online just in case I were to get any easy and convenient orders that paid well. That ended up happening just once.

I made about $44.49/hr on this day.

The shop didn't take me very long at all and the girl who I delivered to lived just down the boulevard from me. As soon as I finished there, I was back home in just a few minutes. My main days of work are usually Thurs-Sun here lately. So, a little headstart with a bit of cash on Wednesday is nice, even if it wasn't a majorly profitable day.

Thursday, February 15th

No work

Friday, February 16th

Friday started terribly because I missed my biggest tipper's weekly $100+ order. I accepted it and of course, the app was being slow and it said somebody else accepted it before I did. I was livid but didn't give up. I got another great order and a few other pretty good ones.

I made about $48.62/hr on this day.

The second customer was a man that goes to my gym. His cute and chubby Pug named Charlie got outside and ran into the street when I was delivering. I ran out there and picked him up myself and it reminded me of the Pug I had briefly as a child.

My final customer was one of my regulars. I had never met her before. On this day we finally communicated through the app. She ordered a ton of oranges, but I had to switch to another kind. She appreciated me not just leaving her without oranges. She met me at the door and handed me $15 on top of the $13 tip she left me digitally through the app.

Saturday, February 17th

As I type this after a long Saturday of work, I'm both exhausted and extremely satisfied. I couldn't have asked for a better day. I had orders from morning until evening. The longest I sat around waiting was maybe 30 minutes. There were several times that I got another order as soon as I completed the one before it.

I made about $54.54/hr on this day.

Not only did I have orders all day long, but my hourly rate was excellent too. I made good use of my time and got lucky that a few of my customers were very generous.

I hit my $300 weekly goal and still have one more day left. I'm hoping that Sunday goes swimmingly too. If I can add another $100+ to my total, I will be thrilled.

Sunday, February 18th

Sunday was slow. I guess everybody put their orders in for Saturday in fear of a forecasted snowstorm. The snow ended up being very light, but at least Saturday was boosted because of it. I had all day Sunday to work but didn't get my first orders until well after noon.

I made about $49/hr on this day.

I could have ended this day at $0 if I had given up after nothing all morning. Thankfully a few of my regulars came through clutch and I earned about $50 to boost me to nearly $400 for the week.

End of week hours and pay 🤑

My weekly pay was close to $400 and I worked just under 8 hours.

I made about $51.31/hr on average this past week.

Doing it again next week 👀

I've been taking Monday and Tuesday off each week for personal reasons. It has allowed me to force myself to stop working 7 days a week. With Instacart, there is always money to be made, maybe. It's a weird job, but I like it as long as it allows me to earn enough to continue to get by until $HIVE decides to stop sleeping through these markets.

I hope you have enjoyed this insider look at what kind of pay is possible while working for Instacart.

I am in the spot where if I could get my hands on a car, I would get to doing some Instacart myself. Keep up the hustle

Idk how I'd function without a car. I have had one ever since I turned 16 and could drive.

I am adaptable, lol. After living in a van for 4 years, I am kind of okay with it at the moment, lol. Giving me a chance to set some roots.

Hi, your Saturday was great thanks to the threat of the snow storm, nice report,👍👍👍

Saturday was busy for me because I have too much study work and assignment
