Recently was celebrated one of the most important and expected dates for everyone as Halloween, where as the years go by is a new experience for everyone, since I was little I went out to look for candy from house to house, but this time it was different, because that day I went to one of the coffee shops near the house to take advantage of the offer in coffee and candy for Halloween and have a great time, where once again we took a very nice experience for that day.
The cafeteria is close to home, so I had no problem walking to get there, so our departure was in the afternoon, once the sun had gone down a little. The first impression I got was that there were several people who were dressed up in horror-themed costumes in reference to that date. In addition, the cafeteria placed very nice little decorations and in that way adapt and that customers took a good impression of everything. In my case I did not go in costume, but normal, since I just wanted to have a coffee and have a different time that afternoon, while everyone enjoyed their Halloween in their own way.
When I arrived, I found my table empty and was immediately attended to and mentioned a number of products that were on sale for the day. Many of them sounded great and I wanted to try them all for the occasion. So I checked the menu a couple of times to see if I could find the right one and the choice was a plain latte for the cost of $1.3, which I thought was perfect for the occasion, since I was on my own.
The coffee was just right, good flavor and the surprise for this occasion was that they served it in a simple but at the same time striking cardboard cups, because of the design they have, where it had several letters and phrases that refer to coffee, I really did not expect it and it was unique. In addition, it came with only one bag of sugar and in this case I needed another one to make it perfect, on the top, a little bit of powdered chocolate and for that reason, at the moment of mixing everything, I created another flavor in the coffee, but still wonderful.
To accompany that coffee and continue enjoying that Halloween afternoon in the cafeteria, I ordered a portion of the house black cake, it was on the menu and it caught my attention, so I went for it, taking the risk that it would be good for that moment. When I got to the table immediately, I was speechless, since it was a very big cake, a variety of flavors and above all one of the fruits that I like the most, such as strawberry, so all that was the decoration of the cake.
Its flavor was very rich and when it was mixed with the coffee it created a great combination of very rich flavors and it was really what I wanted for that afternoon, something that was powerful and loaded with a lot of sweetness. There I spent a good time tasting each piece I ate and meanwhile I saw how people with more costumes arrived at the cafeteria, so it was a great experience and above all to do something different for that great date that is only celebrated once a year. So we closed that day with that great combo of coffee with milk and black cake to raise the spirits.
