Well I tell you that when we started touring those places where we used to eat very well I have been surprised that most of them are closed, that is almost all those good places where we used to go when we wanted to enjoy a good dish no longer exist, actually that should not surprise me so much because due to the political and economic situation in my country, any of these things is not surprising, but like everything always one is surprised by certain things in the first instance, but then reflects and if this is possible in my country Venezuela.
So, apparently one of those that survives all this is the Churchill Steak House, so we decided to have lunch there, the truth was a very nice evening especially because what we ordered to eat was very good, which was a beef tenderloin in wine sauce with mushrooms and Swiss cheese, and accompanied with sautéed vegetables and mashed potatoes, the truth was everything was at its point, very good.
However, it is noteworthy that for that day, which was a Tuesday, the place was quite lonely, but I imagine that it must have some clientele so that we can still enjoy its atmosphere, which by the way is very cozy and of course it provokes eating in these places, but it is certainly not an economical place at all, so it is precisely to visit on special occasions and as precisely the special occasion I was celebrating was one more birthday of life, because the occasion lent itself.
So for these silver years that I now enjoy, and for which I want to thank my God for all the years of life, and above all to maintain good health, because when you reach this age of the 7th floor is very important to have good health, and take good care of ourselves with the diseases of age.
I want to tell you that at some point that day I felt a little nostalgic for not having my children around, but then I passed thinking that they are better off where they are, for the same country situation that I mentioned before, it is a reality that perhaps the vast majority of older adults living in the country live, and which is a reality that we must face in the best way, without disturbing us day to day.

Saludos, estimada comunidad Silver, por acá estamos nuevamente a propósito que el mes pasado estuve de cumpleaños y quiero compartir con ustedes, cuál fue mi experiencia en ese día, en el cual había decido que quería ir a comer en uno de esos restaurantes que quedan hacia el norte de la ciudad y que en realidad tenía mucho tiempo que no los visitaba, cosa que en años anteriores los visitaba con mayor regularidad.
Pues les cuento que cuando empezamos a recorrer esos lugares donde solíamos comer muy bien me he quedado con la sorpresa que la mayoría de ellos están cerrados, es decir casi todos esos sitios buenos donde solíamos ir cuando queríamos disfrutar de un buen plato ya no existen, en realidad eso no debería extrañarme tanto porque debido a la situación política y económica en mi país, cualquiera de estas cosas no es de extrañar, pero como todo siempre a uno le sorprenden ciertas cosas en primera instancia, pero después reflexiona y si esto es posible en mi país Venezuela.
Por lo cual, aparentemente uno de los que subsiste a todo esto es el Churchill Steak House, por lo cual decidimos que almorzaríamos allí, la verdad fue una velada bien agradable sobre todo porque lo que pedimos para comer estaba muy bueno, que fue un lomito de vacuno o res en salsa de vino con champiñones y queso suizo, y acompañado con unos vegetales salteados y puré de papas, la verdad todo estaba en su punto, muy bueno.
Sin embargo, es de notar que para ese día, que fue un martes, estaba bastante solo el lugar, pero me imagino que si debe tener cierta clientela para que todavía podamos disfrutar de su ambiente, que por cierto es muy acogedor y claro que provoca comer en estos sitios, pero sin duda que no es un sitio económico para nada, por lo cual es precisamente de visitar en ocasiones especiales y como precisamente la ocasión especial que celebraba era un cumpleaños más de vida, pues la ocasión se prestaba.
Por lo cual por estos años plateados que ahora disfruto, y por lo cual quiero agradecer a mi Dios por todos los años de vida, y sobre todo mantener una buena salud, ya que cuando se llega a esta edad del piso 7 es muy importante tener buena salud, y cuidarnos mucho con las enfermedades propias de la edad.
Quiero contarles que en algún momento de ese día sentí un poco de nostalgia por no tener a mis hijos cerca, pero luego se me paso pensando que ellos están mejor donde están, por la misma situación país que antes les mencionaba, es una realidad que vive quizás la gran mayoría de personas adultas mayores que viven en el país, y lo cual es una realidad que debemos afrontar de la mejor manera, sin que nos perturbe el día a día.
