I also started this way by playing randomly but then by playing the results improve.
I do not know the dynamics of the game in depth but by playing I am slowly learning to make better choices in selecting golems.
the idle version takes very little time while the conquest mode more time but it is also much more fun.

        That's true... Atm, I can click a few times per day to collect rewards, but not really to play the conquest mode... Maybe I will change my mind... 😃
