Good evening vegan lovers ,i made a delicious plantain porridge and i want to share my how i made it.
Firstly plantain is very good for the because it contains vitamin B6,which may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease and also it can provide an energy boost.
In the other hand scent leaf is good for the body because it can help in fighting harmful bacteria in the gut.
Uziza leaves contains antioxidants which is good for the body and curry leaves can help to lower cholesterol levels so all these leaves are very good for the body.
I used the following ingredients to prepare the porridge:
1 large onion
3 large tomatos
1 tea spoon salt
1 cooking spoon red oil
6 hot pepper
100g scent leaf
1 handful uziza leave
Small curry leaves
4 unripe plantain and 2 ripped plantain
Let start the process
I ploughed my uziza, scent leaf and curry leaves and wash it thoroughly,then i sliced them and set aside.
So i washed my unripe plantain and ripped plantain and removed the back of the plantain and ans sliced it.
so i sliced my washed tomatoes, onion and paper
Then i place my clean pot on fire and add it my 1spoon cooking red oil,i left it like 1 minute then i added my onion, tomatoes and papper and allow it to cook like 5 minutes then i added my 1 teaspoon salt.
After adding the salt i added water to taste like 1 cup of water and allow everything to cook like 2 minutes.So the water started boiling and i added my unripe plantain and allowed it like 3 minutes before adding my ripped plantain and cook it like 5 minutes
So finally i added my uziza,curry and scent leaf to the plantain and turn it well and allow it to cook like 3 minutes.my plantain is ready to serve.
