Hello guys. Lets help our friend in how to cook a simple dish called Tinola. For the information of all of us. TINOLA is a Filipino dish mostly serve by every mother in every home here at the Philippines because of its delicious taste and an authentic dish which mesmerize the aroma of love and dedication of every Filipino to remember the essence of cooking for your loved ones. This dish was inspired by my cousin who wants to serve a Tinola dish to her friends by presenting the taste of how to serve your loved ones with love .Cooking with love is what makes the food taste different and catch the love of the person you like.
Sorry guys if i dont have picture with her while giving her the instruction because I'm focus in guiding her in the process and forgot to have a picture with him while cooking. You know if we love something or its our passion we mostly forgot other things because all the focus is in the thing you are doing. But I promise you guys next time that we cook again I'll take a picture with her or to anyone that I cook with. Pardon for my mistake and made a misunderstanding content.
Here she wants to prepare a meal for her friends to be coming by later to have a night stay here at our Boarding house. So she ask me for a favor to teach her how to make Tinola. She said that she want to express her love for her classmates through cooking. She wants to try cooking for the first time because in her life her mother is the one who are cooking in their house. She must be a beginner in cooking but i believe by love and inspiration she can make a meal that can satisfy the tastebud of her friends. for the first time I'm impress with her dedication to cook because she only know is cook instant noodles and hotdogs.
You can see in this picture the smile on her face while preparing the ingredients to be use for the Tinola. And all i just need to do is guide and instruct her in the process of cooking. She is a fast learner that is what i can say because she can follow all the step that i said.
Here are the ingridients
-1kilo-chicken quarter leg (note: you can use other parts of chicken depend on your liking)
-1 kilo chayote or papaya
-2 pcs onions
-2 tsp black pepper (optional)
-2 tsp salt
-2 cup water
Lets now cook. you can follow this process. Ready, lets start cooking.
1- Heat a pan until all water evaporate. the add some oil and wait to gets hot and sauté the chop onions.
2- Add the chop chicken and sauté for another 3 minutes until the chicken will start to get watery. By sauteing chicken from the onion it will give a sweet taste and a tender to the chicken.
3- After you sauté. You can know transfer it to soup pot and add 2 cups of water and make it boil for a while. After it boil, you can now add black pepper to add taste and a good smell to the chicken. Then make it stay for another 3 minutes so that the chicken will absorb the flavor of the seasoning and the taste will arouse.
4- You can add now the chayote or papaya and let it simmer until the chayote/papaya is cook.
5- Rady to serve. lets dig in guys.
I'm sorry if i cannot tell her name because of her request to make it anonymous. Here is her friend and also her classmate having dinner together. I ask one of her friend for a comment on the food that was cook and she say "its nice and delicious, good job" and also i ask her other friend and say "she can be a good wife soon". this is now the end of my blog. thank you for reading.
