Ingredients;
- About four medium-sized beetroots
- A normal sized b onion
- Two cloves of garlic
- A few curry leaves
- About three or five chillies
- Half teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- Half teaspoon of cumin powder
- A tablespoon of chilli pieces
- Two tablespoons of oil
- A teaspoon of salt powder
- A full tablespoon of grated coconut
The method of making;
Peel, wash and clean the beetroot thoroughly and cut it into half-centimeter cubes.
Cut the well-prepared and cleaned chilies into long strips, as well as the garlic and onion salt into very small pieces.
Boil beetroot pieces in a cup of water over medium heat for about six minutes.
Add a tablespoon of oil to the pan and when it is hot, add the mustard seeds.
Then add chopped garlic and onions.
Stir fry in the normal flame.
Now add boiled beetroot pieces.
Let's add turmeric powder and cumin powder with salt powder to it.
After Two minutes add chillies and curry leaves with pandan leaves.
Now cook everything on low heat, stirring occasionally, for about four minutes.
After mixing all these together and mixing well, finally add the grated coconut. Add the coconut and mix for about a minute on low heat and then remove from the stove.
In addition to beetroot curry, this is a delicious recipe that can be eaten as a beetroot oil tempura. This is especially delicious because it adds coconut, which makes it even more delicious.
