Let's taste the delicious jackfruit curry, made in the village style with Sri Lankan style.

As usual, I wish these friends a very happy, enthusiastic, and successful day today. Maybe this is your morning, maybe this is your afternoon. For us, the night has come.I am a pregnant woman. That is why I often prefer village food as it provides me with energy. Because it does not contain unnecessary fertilizers and any chemicals. So today I thought of making a village-style, Sri Lankan-style jackfruit curry. I really like it. So let's see how to make it.

Ingredients;

  • 500g of raw jackfruit
  • 50g of Jackfruit seeds
  • One and half teaspoons of oil
  • One teaspoon of meat curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon of chilli powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • A full teaspoon of salt cubs
  • A teaspoon of cumin powder
  • A full teaspoon of mustard seeds

  • A piece of pandan leave
  • A handful of curry leaves
  • A few pieces of cinnamon
  • Three pods of green chillies
  • Half large onion
  • Three dry chillies
  • Four cloves of garlic
  • Three or four more spicy green chillies
    (as you like)
  • 1/2 cup of chick coconut milk
  • A cup of melted coconut milk

The method of making;

Cut the jackfruit into strips, usually about half a centimeter or a centimeter long.

You should cut the jackfruit seeds into small pieces so that it is easier to boil.

Remove the skin of seeds pieces.

Cut the garlic and onions into small pieces, the green chilies into long strips, and the dry chillies into regular pieces.

Usually, all the dishes prepared in the village are often prepared in clay pots. This is a village custom and there is a saying that the food tastes better in that pot. That is why I used a clay pot to make this koskari today. Let's first add the well-washed and cleaned jackfruit seeds to the pot.

Then add the jackfruit strips that were washed clean . Add part of the b. onions cut into it.

After that add pandan leave with little bit of curry leaves.

Add cinnamon and green chillies to it.

So, Now add turmeric powder, cumin powder and chilli powder.

Afterthat add salt cubes.

Now mix all.

Then add a cup of melted coconut milk.

Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat for ten minutes.

After 10 minutes add chick coconut milk and meat curry powder and stir well.

Cook for another five minutes on medium heat and remove from the stove.

This tempura is the best way to double the flavor of jackfruit. So let's see how to make tempura.

Place a suitable container and add one and a half tablespoons of oil to it. Then add the mustard seeds to it. When the mustard seeds are well heated, add the chopped garlic, green chilies, curry leaves, and large onions with dry chillies also.

Fry over medium heat for about two minutes and add to the cooked jackfruit.

If you taste this Jackfruit curry curry with tempura, you will definitely get addicted. It is so delicious. It is very fragrant. You will want to eat it even more. This is a Jackfruit curry made in Sri Lankan style, without any poison, with a village flavor. Many people like it. Srilankan cuisine always make me curious like the Indian one or the all Asian cuisine, this curry looks so rich 💖
