El cereal FLIPS de la empresa Alfonzo Rivas es uno de mis cereales favoritos de todos los tiempos desde que soy pequeña, me gustan todos sus sabores, pero mi favorito es el clásico de chocolate. A medida que pasa el tiempo, he notado que lanzan más versiones de FLIPS, no solo en sabor, sino en presentación y una que llamo mi atención hace poco fue este nuevo FLIPS "crunchy crema", que se promociona como una crema para untar de chocolate con trozos del cereal.
Vi esta nueva versión por primera vez en una de las sucursales de la farmacia Farmatodo y hoy me anime a comprarla. El empaque de esta crema FLIPS es uno mediano y viene con tres pequeños empaques dentro a los cuales hay que recortarles la parte amarilla para dejar salir la crema. El diseño de todo me parece bastante bonito y original, tal vez es mucho plástico y podría ser más práctico, pero visualmente está muy bien, ahora, ¿la crema vale la pena? 👀
Lo primero que pensé al probar la crema es que sabía un poco a Ovomaltina, lo cual no es para nada malo, después sí le sentí más el sabor al chocolate de los FLIPS y bueno, se sienten los pequeños (muy pequeños) trozos de lo que sería el cereal. La verdad es que la crema sabe bien, pero no es nada del otro mundo, se disfruta y la veo buena para untar en galletas, pan, postres, cositas así (creo que queda bien como para una merienda).
La crema en general es rica, sí la volvería a comprar, pero como dije, no es nada nuevo bajo el sol, eso si, me parece genial que se estén sacando nuevos productos FLIPS porque como mencione, es de mis cereales favoritos. El empaque cuesta aproximadamente $2.5 en Farmatodo, no lo he visto en otro lado. Al momento de escribir esto solo me he comido uno solo de los pequeños empaques, dejaré los otros dos para ver una serie en Netflix o algo por estilo, ¡espero se animen a probar la crema! 💜

FLIPS cereal from Alfonzo Rivas is one of my all time favorite cereals since I was a child, I like all their flavors, but my favorite is the classic chocolate. As time goes by, I have noticed that they are launching more versions of FLIPS, not only in flavor, but in presentation and one that caught my attention recently was this new FLIPS “crunchy cream”, which is promoted as a chocolate cream with pieces of the cereal.
I saw this new version for the first time in one of the branches of the Farmatodo pharmacy and today I decided to buy it. The packaging of this FLIPS cream is a medium sized one and it comes with three small packages inside which you have to cut the yellow part to let the cream out. The design of it all seems quite nice and original to me, maybe it is a lot of plastic and could be more practical, but visually it looks great, now, is the cream worth it?
The first thing I thought when I tasted the cream is that it tasted a little bit like Ovomaltine, which is not bad at all, then I felt more the chocolate flavor of the FLIPS and well, you can feel the small (very small) pieces of what would be the cereal. The truth is that the cream tastes good, but it's not a big deal, it's enjoyable and I think it's good to spread on cookies, bread, desserts, little things like that (I think it's good as a snack).
The cream in general is tasty, yes I would buy it again, but as I said, it's nothing new under the sun, I think it's great that they are bringing out new FLIPS products because as I mentioned, it's one of my favorite cereals. The package costs about $2.5 at Farmatodo, I haven't seen it anywhere else. At the time of writing this I have only eaten one of the small packages, I will leave the other two to watch a series on Netflix or something like that, I hope you are motivated to try the cream! 💜
